Your Greatest ResourcesWhen people think about pursuing something, they first take a look at their resources. That is a wise thing to do. What is wiser is to 'realize' all your resources. What you think is most important resource to be successful in this world ? Money ? Sure, we need to know how much money we have and is required but that’s not all. There are far greater resources for you to have other than money and that is - Desire, Vision, Persistence & Guts. And with these resources, even if you lack on your financial resource, you can still pursue and achieve your dreams. # Desire. Everything that comes from life comes from wanting it. Really wanting it. A fire in the belly that cannot be put out no matter what? This is what you must have. True burning desire for what you want. This is not a wish or something you would take if it came along. This is something deep in your heart. Something you long for, something you have always longed for, and something you will continue to long for. In many ways it is what you feel you were created for. Your destiny. And it is buried within you and cannot be taken away. Do you have this kind of desire for what you seek? Then you will accomplish it. # Vision. "To achieve, you never have a money problem, only a vision problem.” Robert Schuller. How true.
If you have vision for something, you will attract the money or resources needed. Vision is that grand spectacular plan that sees the big picture, paints it for others, and draws them along. Do you have a vision for what it is you want to accomplish? Can you see it even if it isn’t here yet? Can you hear it? Smell it? # Persistence. “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” Calvin Coolidge. Well said.It is true that most people who achieve something that others don’t do so simply because they tried longer. Not necessarily harder, just longer. So often the prize is lost because we do not persevere. Do you persist when the going gets tough? If you will persist, you will achieve your dream, whether you have money or not. # Courage. Do you have it ? Can you look risk in the eye and not blink? The men and women of this world who have accomplish tremendous things were not handed over those things. They also had/have moments of fear in life. Fear of loss. Fear of humiliation. Fear of failure. But what separates them from the rest is their guts.. Their courage. They stand by their vision - a big dream - and the courage to go for it, no matter what the cost. Focus.. Focus.. We see 3 categories of people we see around; 1. who work all day (act), 2. who dream all the day (think), 3. who spend an hour dreaming before setting to work to fulfill those dreams (think & act). Choose to be in the third category because there's virtually no competition.

First understand your role and the responsibility that comes with it.
In job or business or relationship, we all have to 'perform' to produce the desired out come. Most people are not sure why exactly they exist in the organization/family or relationship. So Ask yourself, why you exist (where ever you exist) and why are you paid (professionally) or rewarded (personally) ? This is one of the most important questions you ever ask and answer, over and over again, throughout your life or career.

Define Your Key Result Areas.
A key result area is defined as something for which you are completely responsible. This means that if you don't do it, it doesn't get done. A key result area is an activity that is under your control. It is an output of your work that becomes an input or a contributing factor to the work of others.

Insight : Your weakest key result area sets the height at which you can use all your other skills and abilities. For example - you could be exceptional in 4 out of 7 key result areas but really poor in the 5th. Meaning 5th area may hold you back and act as a drag on your effectiveness, lead to friction & frustration.

So ask your self, what is the core, essential & desired knowledge/skills required for your results ? Where are you strong and where are you weak?
Where are you getting excellent results and where are you underperforming?

Decide To Become Excellent. The fact is that everybody has both strengths and weaknesses. Refuse to rationalize, justify or defend your areas of weakness. Instead, identify them clearly. Work on it. Just think -- You may be only one critical skill away from top performance .

Lets get started - understand, identify, define, decide, monitor & measure outcomes of your 'key result areas'. First prove, then constantly improve. My Questions, My Answers...Every question has an answer. And every answer is born out of some question. Questions and answers in isolation are worthless.Here are some pointers, see if any of them won't do the trick for your question, problem, or situation. You Need Clearer Vision.
By getting our vision clearer, we are able to refine our path, which brings us the results we are looking for on our journey. Question: Do you need to clear up your vision before you move on? Increase Your Skills.
There are times we don't get what we want because we just don't have the skills. That is the bad news. The good news is that we can always increase our skills! Question: Is it time to refocus on increasing your skills? Forgive Them and Move On.
People will affect you. It happens. The key to success is to forgive them and move on. When you forgive those who affect you, you set yourself free. Question: Whom do you need to forgive? Time for An Attitude Adjustment!
Remember -- Your attitude determines your altitude. How true. Sometimes we do not achieve what we want to because our attitude. Work on it, change it. Question: Is your attitude the element that is holding you back? You need to take a break and gets some rest.
All work and no play makes life dull. You need a break. You need a rest.
Time away will make You stronger for the battle when You re-enter the arena.Question: Is it time for you to take a break? Keep asking your self and get going !
