The Search for Miss Earth Philippines 2007 is on

	proudly presents Miss Earth Philippines About Miss Philippines Earth   After establishing a track record in mounting world-class beauty pageants over the last decade, Carousel Productions Inc. decided to reinvent and improve the concept of beauty competitions for the new millennium. Because many people admired and aspired to be a beauty queen, Carousel believed beauty queens would be a good and effective advocate of  worthy causes. To give life to this vision, Carousel organized and launched in 2001 the MISS PHILIPPINES and MISS EARTH Beauty Pageants, two beauty events whose raison d’etre was to have its candidates and winners actively promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment and the protection of Mother Earth.   MISS PHILIPPINES, the pageant which conducts a search for “a true  Filipina beauty who cares for and helps in the preservation of our environment” is the only truly nationwide beauty competition in the Philippines today. To attract the prettiest and most qualified young ladies from all over the country, Carousel Productions, through its network of regional franchise holders, organizes beauty contests in 12 regions all over the country. The winners of these regional contests compete with the 12 National Capital Region candidates (who in turn have been screened and selected from more than 100 aspirants) in the national pageant.   The MISS PHILIPPINES winner eventually competes in the Manila-based Miss Earth Beauty Pageant participated in by 60-80 countries around the globe.

Entry Conditions
	Female, between 18 years old and 25 years old (during the reigning period) Never been married nor given birth Has Filipino ancestry  Minimum height of 5’6 Beauty of face & figure High school graduate Of good moral character Familiar with environmental issues facing her region/country Willing to stay in Manila during the duration of the pageant. If declared as one of the winners, she has to fulfill her duties in the Philippines to do environmental projects during her reign. MEP Contestants Entry Form

	Catherine Untalan Miss Philippines-Earth 2006       What she says about herself: “I recently graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in Psychology. I've always enjoyed meeting new faces and going to different places and trying new things. I spent most of my life in a military base, which taught me discipline in a special way.
